You know. . .it is really pretty disappointing for those that were former athletes and current in the program.

I remember a few years back. . .and I can't remember his last name but there was a track star named Jerry. . . and he loved the university because of being at track athlete and that relationship with his fellow runners.

I understand why it happens but it really is a shame.
If you don\'t invest very much, then defeat doesn\'t hurt very much and winning is not very exciting.

That is a shame, I know for sure the Western Ky area is known for producing state highschool mens track champions and now the kids have no where to go.  Hopefully it will make its way back to MSU but I do not see it happening in the near future.

No one watches track. When the OVC Championships were here a few years back there was ONE person in the stands. And I am not exaggerating. You would think more than one person would show up to watch the conference championships. The sport is just dead which I think is sad because I ran track in high school and enjoy watching it.
