I don't really want him personally, he's confused obviously and I'm told he's a project to boot. Besides, he has zero relationships with the coaching staff and why he decommitted to begin with.

I think at this point we should treat every player with a one and done attitude with the way it's going.  The days of multi year players is dead and gone.

You can only transfer once without sitting out unless it's a special circumstance so maybe that will help. There isn't another basketball organization anywhere that allows unlimited free agency and the NCAA can't either. It's asinine.

What a mess.

We've talked for years about how there is no such thing as a 4-year scholarship and it is at the discretion of the school to renew a scholarship establishing that there is no loyalty from the school to the player.

Then we allow amateur athletes to make money on their NIL which effectively takes away their amateur status as it was defined for many years in the association allowing students to go where the money is establishing that there is no loyalty from the player to the school.

Now we're at a we-don't-care-what-you-were-promised-to-get-you-to-the-institution-you-chose-you-cannot-transfer-to-another-school mentality establishing that there is no loyalty from the association to the players.  This is my belief.

You know who the most important component in all this "mess" is? It isn't the players (I know, blaspheme lmao) or the school, it's the fans and our $$$, without which they might as well be good at badminton. I'm growing sick of the free agency portion of this and guarantee I'm not alone. These players and coaches are slowly but surely shit n in their nests.
