Just keep it below a 40 point blow out.  

I can see this game going either way.  We've played ok at home, but gah that last game was just horrid.  Hope we bounce back strong.

This game looks a lot like the Belmont game in that our starters will have to play the lion's share of the minutes and will have to look to score often.

None of that matters if they leave the shooter wide-open from 3-range.

These 2 teams are evenly matched and the team with the fewest mistakes will probably come out on top.

Indiana State is 4-5 0.444 on the road.

Murray State is 9-1 0.900 at home.

And yet, the Racers are the underdogs due to their consistent inconsistency.

It is past time to put a full 40-minutes of high performance offense and defense together and get some momentum going heading into the conference tournament.

Drake lost to Missouri State both times they played them.  I hope the coaching staff knows this and has watched what the Bears did to neutralize Drake.  To be successful, you need to emulate what successful people do.

Amazingly, we only fell 3 spots in the Massey ratings after our disintegration against the Sycamores.

We gave up 99 points last time out.

I need to see a player reaction and some fire after that embarrassment more than I need to see a win tonight.  A win would be wonderful, but I need to see that these players give a crap most.

Must be very difficult to model a team like the Racers, who look good at home but awful on the road. It's definitely not just "add 4-5 points for home court" with this team. 

I'm curious on how Jacobi Wood is ranked so much higher than Brian Moore. To my eye test, Jacobi is a role player that makes few mistakes. He won't lose a game for you - unless playing 35 minutes with less than 5 points in a few games loses a game because of the minimal production. But he also won't win a game for you - with exception of 2 games in myrtle beach. I am generalizing a bit too much, but my point is that Moore seems to be able to positively change a game. Obviously, the model crunches numbers for a different outcome. Just curious and would love to better understand the player rating component.

Good Question, and thanks for asking!

My pre-game ratings are adjusted SEASONAL ratings whereas my post-game ratings are just for that SINGLE GAME.

In this case, Jacobi has played a lot more minutes and a lot more games than Brian.  This affects total points, rebounds, etc.

I hope that helps clarify things a bit.

Home court means more in the Mo Valley than maybe any league in the country. Let's take advantage of that and put Saturday's nightmare behind us. Our guys aren't stupid. They know they laid an egg Saturday. They have enough pride to want to do better in front of the home crowd. They will come out strong. I just hope they can keep the intensity level up for 40 minutes. Drake may be a little drained after going 2 OT's to beat Valpo. Come on now. We're better than Valpo. Let's protect our turf, then 75 can tell CSP what we need to do to break our curse on he road.
