I'm posting this thread for 2 reasons.  Reason #1 -Practice.  I haven't started a thread on this new platform, but more importantly,
Reason #2 - Who has already committed to go?  We just got our tickets through the MSU office ($310) for an all session pass for both of us, plus $662.44 for a 3 day stay at the team hotel.  We've already committed close to a thousand bucks to go to a tournament I'm still not confident the team will make (sorry to say that).   But gotta hope and gotta believe.  Hopefully the worst case will be we make the tournament, lose early and my wife and I enjoy St. Louis for a couple of days.  Best case, we win it all!

I have reservations at the team hotel. These are cancellable two days in advance. Haven't bought tickets.

This team may convince me not to go, but our plans are to go at this point.

More than $200 a day for the hotel? Reminds me of going to NASCAR races in the 80' and 90's. If you stayed too close to the track, all the hotels would have a minimum 3 day stay. Around $150 per night. For $200 a day you deserve breakfast with the players and coaches, and free limo access.

Admittedly, downtown St Louis in 2023 doesn't sound like a wise decision. Nashville is bad enough compared to just a decade ago but St Louis is a shithole for lack of a better word. Better go packing.

We purchased all session tickets a few weeks ago at the discounted price. No need for a hotel since we live about 25 minutes from the Enterprise Center. For some reason I was thinking all teams would be in the bracket. I hope we get in to play at least one game.

Yes, everybody makes the MVC Tournament.

Really?  The arena is about a mile away from the team hotel.  Is it that bad?  I can't pack since I will get searched at the door, but still was thinking of walking.

We have been talking about taking a shuttle directly from the hotel. I wouldn't do a lot of walking downtown.

No, it's not that bad.  I go downtown regularly and don't feel unsafe.  I walk a mile from where I park most cardinals games.  Just be smart and you are fine.

I added  just Wednesday night to our hotel reservations.  Based on our play today, we are unlikely to get a top 4 seed and will probably not get the first round bye and will have to play on Wednesday.  Hopefully we win and keep playing.  I'm planning on staying in STL regardless and watching MVC basketball.

Going to be a ton of fun in the area Saturday night as the Arch Madness championship semis will be going on (hopefully including the racers) as well as the MLS teams first home game ever.

Haven't made hotel reservations yet, but I bought tickets when I re-upped our season tickets. We are going.
