Most of the time I don't like arm chair QB's or back seat drivers. But, CSP said he needs to figure out how to make the Racers a better team. Disect the reasons for the 16-0 run against Bellarmine and the 18 point second half comeback last night.  See what was different during those stretches compared to the reasons we fell behind in the first place,  Of course we are a young team trying to get used to each other. Of course we are spoiled after last year. No, we don't have a Don Mann, Frank Allen, Marcus Brown. Sip,, Cam or Ja running the show. But, I really think game prep and bench utilization should have improved by now. I love the "deer in the headlines" analogy by smidgen. Maybe a Ron Green glare from the sideline might help when the same players keep making the same bad decisions or continue to not hassle as much as they should.

It's easy for me to armchair QB bringing in a new D1 roster of 12 players, I do know that. It has to be incredibly frustrating for him too and he does see these guys every day in practice. Like Billy Kennedy I need to trust the process I know but it's tough lol.

Yup, I was expecting a really down year.  I was very prepared for a lot of growing pains.  Then we played really well at the early tourney and beat a ranked team.  Expectations went up super fast and its hard to adjust them back down.

But in reality, this team should be really up and down for a while.   I think we all would have more patience if we thought there was not a possibility of being good after watching a few games.

Turns out we are probably going to win a few big games this year and lose some head scratchers.

Agreed. I just think some of us, including maybe  you, are wondering what the process is that continually produces lackluster effort and ill advised shots. The same kind of first 28 minutes or so we saw last night would have gotten us buried against Texas A&M, U Mass, Tulsa. I need to spellcheck my posts better. I called you smidgen. Sorry about that. I guess a smidgen is a distant relative of a gremlin.
