I saw today on FB that Jeff Bidwell and Rob Cross were going to be announcing some of the men's games this season, starting tomorrow night.  Are Neal and Kenny phasing out?

Pretty sure it's just for the TV broadcast.  MVC has a rule not to use radio broadcasters for TV.   Neal and Kenny should still be on Froggy.

Correct. TV and radio will have separate broadcast teams. The TV broadcast will be 'impartial' which is about impossible for Kenny

Hey, I want my Announcer to be a Homer.   If I didn't know better but the guy who does the Semo Games is about as close to a Homer as we will get from an opposing team.   :D :D

I'm just glad that maybe this will be the end of the super annoying (at least to me) color commentator referencing the ESPN+ replay on the radio broadcast. I realize it's a simulcast, but if I have to hear one more time "As you can see on the replay ..."

NO, I'm listening on the radio, I can't see the freakin' replay. And if I am watching on ESPN+, you don't have to tell me that I'm watching a replay when I already KNOW I'm watching a replay. Bugs the crap out of me. (Can you tell?)

Both broadcasts should be better with the separation.

I think Jeff & Rob did a great job for their first time.

Bidwell has 27 years of history with the program.  I'm glad we have someone that knows the history.  Rob also did a very good job at color.  Also knows the program well.  I'll still listen to Neal from time to time because his voice is iconic but both options we have are good options.
