Well it's interesting that Brown hasn't ruled out returning next season. That could mean he's waiting to see what advice he gets in the spring when he goes through the pre-draft process. It could mean he's just not ready to say it publicly. Personally I'm hoping the administration has the sense to honor both KJ and Tevin on Senior night because they have earned that from an academic and athletic standpoint, eligibility notwithstanding.

I noticed that KJ wasn't ruling out coming back for a final season either. Just think, if both were to return for one more season, along with our new recruits, we could be the new "Phi Slama Jama" Racers.

If, and that is a big if, these two returned you would have to think we would be the unanimous preseason pick to win The Valley next season. They are such a great one two punch that allows us to win in a variety of different ways on any given night.

If both of those guys come back were talking 2012 special.  Likely preseason top 25, with the chance to be a top 10 team and the highest seed in school history for the dance.  That Justin Morgan kid could move into Collins spot and just kill teams from 3, would truly be a pick your poison offense.  Alas, I want what is best for Tevin and KJ, they have earned that.

I know MVC has lost some heavy hitters but a 2012 type year in that conference you could be flirting with a 1 or 2 seed.

Not necessarily saying we would be that team but a 2012 type year from any MVC would warrant that high of seed.

Pretty sure they're both gone. I mean who doesn't like big money to do what you love.  :goracers:

I moreso meant 2012 special in national spotlight on the program and huge media coverage due to being a genuine top team in the country, not necessarily a 2012 record lol

your right on it, pre season top 25 next year. That would be a first in msu history. The racers are going to new heights now and im so happy for everyone that supports msu hoops. We have to take care of biz tho. I want that round of 16 monkey off our backs also.

Neither Tevin nor KJ is in anybody's top 100 prospects that I saw. I finally found this one site with a top 200 listing. Tevin is around 150 and KJ is not on it at all, which surprises me. I have no idea how these scouts assess talent. How can a guy with KJ's combination of size, length, speed, and numbers not get any attention at all?
