Since 75 hasn't been able to get together our normal game threads as of late I'll start this one.   If possible I'd love to see a breakdown of this game 75.

This will be a tough one but I'm grateful we are seeing Morehead at home 1st instead of on the road.   Stamina is my biggest concern in this game.  Hopefully coach has the team recovered and ready to play 2 complete halves.    Glad to have Skipper-brown back.  His defense will be vital in defending Broome.

Some positives to note Morehead had not looked great on the road the last few games.    Won by 3 at SIUE and last night pulled out a 1pt win in OT in Cape.  They looked gassed last night and really struggled at the foul line.    Looking forward to see how well we match up with them and how many turnovers we can produce.  Morehead has done a fantastic job this season of not turning the ball over but I don't think they have faced a defense in the OVC as good as ours can be.   Hope we bring it Saturday afternoon.   Expecting a double digit win, but will take any win we can get.   Go Racers

I agree.
However, this is concerning:
"but I don't think they have faced a defense in the OVC as good as ours can be."
Did we show that defense last night against Tech?  Don't think so

We didn't.  But in big games it has been there.   I think the intensity will be there Saturday afternoon, just hope the shots are falling for us.

After watching the Head/Semo game, I would use McMullen and Skipper Brown on Broome and tell them to foul him when he gets it down low.He is shakey from the line and would get KJ in trouble if guarded by him.

Burns too. His defense has been really good. Hasn't been in foul trouble until recently. Figure it's a combo of all these close games/legs and the ovc whistles. A step behind gets you every time.

Just hope we don't get Shoulders or Murley from last night. Hollywood was in Cape maybe he's coming to Murray, better than most now. Definitely don't want any of these rookies with only a few games under their belt.

Unlike Hoppy I feel really good about this game. I'd hate to play us.

The flip side is also true, though - the Racers haven't faced a defense as good as Morehead's in the OVC.  I think these are the two best defensive teams in the OVC.  I'm sure EIU's points per game allowed probably leads the league but that's only because they play at such a slow pace that number of possessions are limited.
One thing that surprised me about last night's Morehead/Semo game - Semo has been one of the worst defensive teams in the country all season long, but Head only scored in the mid-60's at the end of regulation last night.  Let's hope their offensive struggles continue.  I'm glad to see Skipper back - his 5 fouls and physicality are going to be needed Saturday.

Haven't seen it mentioned, but Collins really helped out last night with his shooting.  Has a nice stroke.  Been looking forward to seeing him do well.  Hope it continues.

Morehead pulled out a close OT win last night at the Cape.  They are at a hotel.  We pulled out a close regulation win on the road.  Our team is resting in their own beds.  Both teams are tired, but we have the advantage.

Am in COVID-19 protocol and can't attend game tomorrow.  Have two lower bowl tickets available.  Free.   Face the Racer bench just to the left of the Voice of the Racers.  PM me if interested.

We looked gassed last night. Morehead also didn't look sharp either.

Tomorrow will mark 8 games in 16 days. It's tough to get 3s to fall with weary legs. Defense is harder too. Rebounding is tough. Last night's game seemed like we didn't get rebounds that would normally been ours. Loose balls went to tech more often. Broome is the real deal inside, even for a rested team.

We are deep, but this many games in a short period is challenging regardless of depth.

We are at home. We need a great crowd. We need great energy from the crowd. I'm driving 5+ hours to watch it and yell like I did in college (only I won't be slurring my words).

Go Racers!

Get well  ERacer.  I'm with Smidge. I feel good about this game. Yes. Broom worries me. But, even with him, Belmont is the only impressive win Head has. There games have been tougher than ours the last week. Plus, they are due to lose. Yes. We are exhausted. But, the home crowd will give us energy. The thought of losing 3 straight to Head will motivate us. We did what we had to at Belmont and Memphis. Brown will bounce back tommorow and KJ will have another strong game. Go Racers!

Agreed. We need great energy and enthusiasm from the crowd. Let's fill the Bank tomorrow night!
