All three of those ladies proved themselves on the court against the best in the state in high school.  Lex Mayes doesn't get as much attention, as Burpo, and Turley, but she has been the difference in several games with steals, passing, and defense.  All three have made watching this team enjoyable.  I hope they get rested before the tourney, and go out on top.

Huge win last night with out no. 5.  Funny how I thought we got some bad calls last night but looking at the box score we shot 32 free throws to Peays 12.  Conner, from Marshall County, is pretty solid at point guard even though she doesn't score the ball.  Still have a descent chance at the 2 seed but I don't think the 1 seed is likely.  Staying above the forth seed is still important, not quite as important as in the mens.  Been a while since the women have had 20+ wins.  Probably a nice raise/extension coming for coach.

When you look across all sports, the women have been holding their own.

I'm proud of what the players and coaches have accomplished especially given the hardships caused by covid.

Better be. Pretty sure she's the lowest paid coach in the OVC which would put her ridiculously low in the MVC! Still needs to work on closing out games. Should be in number 1 spot.

Life is gonna be a lot easier in the Turner household in the days and years to come guaranteed. If I were Travis I'd probably get a new boat and a couple new country club memberships lol.

The refs made more than bad calls.  They were an embarrassment.  The tip for the overtime was about two feet toward the APSU end.  While, I have seen it done when teams were really slow getting the ball to inbound it, the official started the count when Conner touched the ball to give it to Burpo.  She was about five feet on the court.  He was at two and one half by the time Burpo received the ball.  Where the ball rolled to after the free throw, it would have taken Conner two seconds to get out of bounds, if she had picked it up, and gone out to throw it in.
