I guess it's to avoid liability from lawsuits but what is the end game with this?

On a lighter note in the tweet replies are Auburn fans talking smack about beating Murray. SEC fans attacking an OVC school. Never thought I see that ???

Can't justify paying for tickets and  driving 3 hours to a home game just to have it rescheduled. I hope to go to a home game and a few away but not at this rate.

I wonder if an out of conference game can be picked up like the announced Loyola vs San Fransisco arrangement to fill the schedule gap?

Wonder how much it is Covid and how much bad teams making an excuse

We're looking at 5 games in 10 days now. Thursday the 13th at home vs TSU, Saturday the 15th @ Belmont, Monday the 17th @ EIU, Thursday the 20th vs EIU again, Saturday the 22nd vs Martin.

That's what we are looking at.  But with 2 or the first 3 games postponed, I am starting to become seriously concerned that we will actually play any of them.

It simply depends on the policy being followed at each school. As an example Cal at UK has said he will not test any players without symptoms. The teams that keep canceling games are obviously not following that thought process.

Both women's games are now cancelled for the weekend.  Haven't seen a men's decision on Saturday at SIUE but would not be surprised if we go 2 weeks between games now.

Scheduling chaos favors the bottom-feeders.  The schedule becomes compressed and now they hope they can catch us on short rest and spring an upset.  So there's some incentive there for some shenanigans with the team testing.  Add this to the football team having to play a team coming off their open date for a month straight and it makes you wonder...

Let them cancel the games - helps our NET rankings if we don't play

I wonder about the accuracy of the tests.  Also, why are they not moving some of these to February?

I would like to have seen a shorter conf schedule with 1 week set aside between the end of the season and the post season tourney for make up games. As long as we play 2 each against Belmont, Head and I'll throw in Peay too just to be nice...none of the other games really matter. They should have expected games to be cancelled. Schedule 14 games for the conf season. Have some weeks with only 1 scheduled game for each team. That would allow for a make up game to be played that week if necessary. Not fair to force any team to play 3 games in a week or 5 games in 10 or 11 days.
