OVC SCORES.

I know its the first day ,but the OVC looks fairly strong out of the gate.  We beat Illinois state, EKU beat IUPUI, surprisingly Jacksonville St took out Tulsa, and SIUE knocked off Hawaii.  All of that plus wins from EIU Morehead and Tn St.   Even Semo didn't lose by 20 to Illinois.  Also future Racer opponent Ole Miss had all they wanted with Martin.  Martin ended up losing by 3.  Overall nice showing by the OVC.

Wouldn't it be great if the powers that be treated other conferences like the Big 6?

If OVC teams only had 1 or 2 losses in the non-conference part of the schedule, do you think we'd have 3 or 4 teams in the top 25 like they do?

More than obvious, the larger universities usually never want non-conference competition, while MSU
wants to continually improve themselves!  It is just a money game, for they get it lackadaisically!

OVC post a 6-1 record today.  After two days of action pomeroy had the OVC ranked 14th.  Realtime rpi list the OVC with the 2nd highest SOS

TSU goes out to Cable Car Classic in California Bay Area and posts wins over UC Davis, N Arizona and Santa Clara by 14, 4 and 8 points to win the tourney. They're gonna be tough.

Having a higher conference RPI isn't alchemy.

Here is how you do it.

1. Schedule winnable D1 games (home/road doesn't matter)
2. Win some of those games.

I agree something is wrong with those rankings.  After yesterday Tn St and Tn tech passed us.  Illinois St dropped out of top 100.  SIUE went from number 5 or so after their win against Hawaii to 290 after another win in which they beat the spread.  And the OVC as a conference went from 14 to 21.  Seems like the OVC is weighted.

I don't pay attention to any of that garbage anymore. It's a rigged system like playing against the house in a casino. Every once in a while the little guy wins just enough to keep him playing, but the longer he plays the more he loses.

Belmont down 15 at the half to Vandy Bruins are 1 of 18 from 3.  Bet this is the last time we see those red jerseys.

I watched majority of that game. Had they actually hit those 3's like they normally do, they could've won that game easily.

And those red jerseys were nice as much as I hate to say it

Looks like semo pulled off the win.  Marshall beat morehed and Jacksonville St. Has fell a little behind WKU but still within striking distance.  Dint know about you guys but I'm pulling for Harper tonight.
