I didn't they got him the ball enough last year.  Reily Ervin is a good point guard to.  If TSU puts it together, watch out!

Thanks guys, sounds like the OVC could have a lot of parity this year!

I know it is early but I was just wandering if anyone knows how the other OVC teams are looking.  I saw on another thread somebody said Tennessee Tech is the favorite.  I thought they lost quite a bit.  I know Samford is always a player with their Sammy "T" squared offense, and I think Tennessee State is loaded with talent.  Austin Peay was real young last year, they will certainly have a nice squad next year.  I think SEMO is a year a way but if coach Edgar can get a good conditioning program implemented who wants to play against is style (it will be very effective in the OVC).  I think the true sleeper is Eastern Illinois.  They lost Josh Gomes but they relied to heavily on him and tried to make him carry the load.  They will play more as a team next year.  I know Jack State returns a couple of decent players and Martin seems to always have decent talent, but their like the Chicago Cubs, you can predict their underachieving failure before it happnes.  Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the cupbard pretty bare for Eastern Kentucky and Morehead State?

Men's Basketball / 06-07 Schedules for OVC teams

I think all ovc schools will take thier lumps early on this year in and out of conference play.  Those who get roughed up and tested by the "big boys" will benefit later in the ovc season.  Tougher teams help mid majors more so then "Asbury or Bethel."  Murray State shouldn't worry about RPI.  I don't mind long road trips because the radio is always available.
