In the second half it seemed like we only played seven plaers yet ard, Easley, Williams, K thomas, parker and key dindn;t see any action.  From what I saw tonight we are lucky we didn't get beat by 20 we were simply out coached.  If semo had hit 70 % free throws it would have been a 20 point game.  Why didn't kennedy play k. thomas he put awesome pressure on the ball in his first game for the racers yet he saw no action, williams is 6,6 and a prolific scorer he is our post presence we need not to mention his shot blocking ability.  I am tired of seeing all of our seniors get the bulk of the minutes paul, horton, spoon, and also our juniors Kennedy George, carter.  Its time we see what our other players can do.  We'll only have k. thomas 1 more season he needs playing time and by not giving freshmen any minutes your not givomg recruits anything to look forward to,  I wish we would have hired edgar.  He was coaching strategically the whole game Kennedy was barely even off the bench not contesting any calls.  Edgar was coaching.  Thats what we need a coach not a recruiter.

I hate to see that spoon hurt his foot. Although I believe he will recover, he just has too much heart and  motivation to play.   I don't think this would be as bad of a blow to the team as one might think.  I would like to see Marvin Williams play a few of Spoons minutes until he recovers I did not like the four guard offense we played most of the night tonight with spoon out.  We need a good power forward someone who can attack the basket,  Williams has shown me he can be that guy I just don't see what all he is doing wrong to not be playing.

With George Mason making it to the final four last year what's your thoughts on this question?

Both recieved votes in the coaches poll  SIU ranked 28th and SDSU 34th.  This next week is going to be a huge test.  But I know our Racers can pull off both wins.  GO RACERS

What's everyones opinion on the new jerseys I was kind of dissappointed they didn't  have their names on the back.  Sure makes it hard when you have all new players to learn who everyone is,

lets hear eveyones prediction for the first few games of the season.  I think we will win in Cali then lose in Carbondale
I think we'll be 9-1 trought the first 10 games.  Losing at Carbondale then stealing one in knoxville.  Payback from last year
