Do you think Murray State will need to up its spending in order to compete in the MVC? I know money doesn't buy wins necessarily (UIC is solid proof of that) but coming in as the lowest spending team might be a bit concerning. If any team can make it work I think it's Murray State and I think Saal put you guys on a great trajectory to be a great add. Hopefully that potential is realized in short order. The facilities upgrade plans you guys put forth in your presentation (at least what we were able to see publicly) is very impressive.

Sure it would be nice to spend more and I’m sure we will BUT I’ll take our $50K per win average and put our results up against any D1 program in the country. Money and population aren’t why we are Murray F. State.

Murray State is committed to competing for MVC championships in men's basketball - I'm confident we'll do what it takes to get there because our fan base will demand it and support it to the levels needed - monetarily and otherwise. Several of the existing programs in the MVC certainly can't say that.

Including our own unfortunately. Though it remains to be seen if that will change\is changing for Valpo. I am hopeful with the new administration (president and AD) we will see more concrete action but we haven't seen anything yet.

Yeah, three days and NOTHING. Why, even the OVC has its new members on its drop-down menu. We've made a terrible mistake moving to the MVC!

Just kidding! I'm sure it won't be long before the Valley gets up to speed, lol.
