Tevin Brown the last great true Racer?

Will Tevin be the last great Racer to only wear the Navy and Gold? I think he could be for a long while. Thoughts??

Hard to speculate on any facet of the program right now. It's as predictable as the weather forecast for November 8, 2022.

Optimism from Racer Nation is high, but any prognostications are just premature at this point.

I’d say there’s a good chance he will be, at least for a while. Hell, when you think about it, Sip was really the last four year great before Tev and he graduated nearly a decade ago.

Now, with NIL, the portal, etc...

How could you ask that question? Rod Thomas will have a pair of oversized sports glasses hanging from the CFSB Center rafters before he even graduates….with a perfect 4.0 GPA, I might add. In Rod we trust!

I have yet to see Tevin on a mock draft board. The closest I have seen is a top 100 best of the rest name drop on an ESPN article and I believe he was ranked 83rd in that. No doubt he’s a pro but just where he’s a pro at is all that is left to be seen.

Tevin put up 22 pts, 9 reb and 2 stl against Auburn who has the consensus #1 overall pick in tonight's NBA Draft in Jabari Smith who had 12 pts, 10 reb and 2 stl in that game.

In this game, Tevin shot 53.3% from the field, 50.0% from 3 and 60.0% from the charity stripe.

If the NBA wants to sleep on him, it will be to their own detriment, IMO. He has some work to do to earn 25+ minutes in the NBA but what rookie doesn't need to work on their game?

I wish him nothing but the best of luck tonight and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll see him playing with or against Ja and Cameron this upcoming NBA season!

Tev didn't get picked up in this year's draft but teams danced all around his overall position.

I'd bet he'll get to play in the G-League if he wants to, perhaps for the Memphis Hustle alongside Shaq?

Only one mid-major player was selected last night. If they weren’t a P5, it was usually a G League Ignite player. Definitely does not help the case to go to school. I think the only player out of college that was not a P5 was from Toledo and that was way down in the second round.

You are correct. Still not a lot to get excited about. It’s geared more toward international and Ignite kids now after P5.
