From a coworker who picked up a piece of floor there were 14 pieces sold. None of them the big dollar pieces. They will be up for auction again.

What would you guys actually give for a piece? I can see businesses wanting one for display but for me personally I can't see spending over $100 for a chunk of wood. I think you could cut them down to 1/4 current size that could sell for $50 each pretty easy.

So one might be able to sell a 1'X1' square for $35? Sounds like there's opportunity there.

Am I looking at this wrong, or is the athletic department trying to sell the floor using the exact same method as before? Individual floor sections starting at $200, and going up to $10,000 for center court. Auction ends April 1. Why do they think this time will be any different than last time?

You have to pay a big fee on top of the basic cost for using that gov site too.
