Wtf game was that guy watching? The one vs Belmont at home when he was hurt? I've stopped reading most evaluation articles a while back. Most are clear that they've never seen him play on TV, much less in person. I'm glad NBA scouts know a little bit better.

I will say that I haven't watched NBA basketball faithfully since Jordan and Bird were playing. I will be watching Ja no matter where he goes, but I'm hoping he will go to a big market team such as the Bulls or Knicks. I want him in the biggest markets on the biggest stage and watch him become an NBA superstar. I hope five years from now (or less) that the name Ja will be a household name. I'm so excited for him that I feel like I'm being drafted!!!

As long as he doesn't go(come) to Houston he should be fine.

It seems like a place not to foster young PG talent I recall...

The Suns and Cavs both finished the season 19-63. They'll have the same odds throughout the top four, no matter who wins Friday's tiebreaker, though the loser can fall as far as No. 7. Morant would be the choice at No. 2 either way, and for the sake of this mock at the moment, Phoenix gets the pick.

Morant's emergence from no-name high school recruit to NCAA tournament darling was one of the better stories of the college basketball season. He's one of the best athletes in this draft. He's a highly creative and ambidextrous passer who should fit into the NBA game seamlessly with his ability to navigate pick-and-rolls and make plays in the open floor. He's a better shooter than he gets credit for, though his casual approach to defense and decision-making sometimes works against him.

The Suns have a gaping hole at point guard, and even though there will be some things to work out in his fit with Devin Booker, Morant should be simply too talented to pass up.

Really the first negative comments we have heard about Ja. How about saying he is confident in being a pg. Ja will win them over quick

I noticed the negative comments have become more and more as he has played better and better. And if he becomes a superstar in the NBA, the haters will really come out of the woodwork. Trust me, I'm sure people hated Michael Jordan, the way some hate LeBron. I guess the better athlete you are, the more people love and hate you. Nature of the beast sadly.

Make no mistake, I am behind Ja 100%. He is the best college point that I have seen. I firmly believe he will have a long and successful career as a pro. Having said that, these are the thoughts I have about that interview.
I don't know who is in his ear, but that interview concerns me. He will be a great point guard, but the Ja that I have watched for the last two years would not try to put a target on his back. He most likely will be on a team that does not have the best of talent, and the opponents will be bigger,stronger, and faster than college players. Why say things like that to make it harder for himself ?

I had breakfast with a pretty smart fella who said you really had to take the entire video in to get the context of his statement and I admit I had not watched it all this morning.

Overall video is much better. Seems to be the same old Ja. Shows how a small part can be taken from an interview to skew what was said.
