He sat on the bench for all but a few minutes his freshman year, and evidently decided that the coach wasn't going to play him, and therefore decided to go where a coach would play him. End of story.

Transferred to a JUCO and then committed to a school closer to his West Coast home.

Let's just be honest here and stop it with the veiled criticism of Jalen's departure. As was discussed in another thread, scholarships are for one season with an expectation by BOTH parties from day 1 that it's gonna all work out. In a perfect world it all does work out, but we unfortunately do not live in a perfect world. When you are saddled with X number of scholarships per season, why in the world should one of those limited, finite, valuable positions be a wash for 4 years if a player is available and ready to help your team the next season? It shouldn't is the short answer and it isn't is the reality of it all. It's unfortunste, but a player who could and did I reckon help out our team was awarded the open scholarship left from his departure. It didn't hurt that he had an excellent GPA and again, it's also unfortunate for him he had the grades, because if he'd been a 2.0er he would likely have finished up his career at Murray.

Shout out to Isaiah Canaan, who logged the most minutes of any 76er tonight in a surprising 114-89 win over the Portland Trailblazers.

Lil 'Sip played 31:02 and was 5-10 from the field including 2-5 from deep and 2-3 from the charity stripe. He also had 4 Assists and 4 Rebounds 1 Block and 1 Steal. He only had 1 fould and 1 turnover and held Damian Lillard to only 14 points!

Way to go 'Sip!!!

Sip's PT has been reduced lately, glad he got more court time. BTW I love the Sixers twitter acount, they put up this gem last night:

CamPayne in 2016 - Thunder Player Feature

Today, Payne is probably not worth adding to your fantasy basketball team. Perhaps, it is too soon to call for his Rookie of the Year nomination; and, it is definitely too soon to chant "M-V-P" when he shoots free throws (Durant and Westbrook both have a case).
But, by no means is it too soon to jump on the CamPayne Hype Train.
Because his future is bright and...

Jarvis Williams makes a big jump, going from a mid level league in Poland to the top team in the Turkish league. Good raise I'm sure.

Man, we could have used Jeff and Tyler this season I guarantee you. I hate to think of what could have been had they stuck around, as their positions killed us at times.

I know we had Cam and Sapp last year. But, I always thought Jeff deserved more pt. I don't get on this thread very often. I've been thinking about CJ Ford lately. He's someone else I thought could have had a better career as a Racer. I hope he did well wherever he went.

Sorry, but I don't believe Jeff would have helped us much, if any. MUCH different competition level than what he is facing.

Don't be sorry about having an opinion, but you're crazy if you don't Jeff Martin, Jr couldn't have helped us handle the ball this year at times. Crazy cause I have no doubt he could get the ball up the court, distribute it and not hurt you while resting Bryce AND most importantly not try to be the hero. Kid has a good head on his shoulders. It's a debate we will never be able to settle I'm afraid.

IF Chad Culbreath couldn't get minutes, I don't think Jeff would have either...

No surprise there. Sapp would have been a 20+ scorer nearly anywhere that didn have a Cam Payne.

Sure it's about Westbrook's triple double but Cam makes an appearance on ESPN's home page ...
