There was an obituary this week for LV McGinty. Do any of you remember the game he was officiating where he collapsed on the field? If I remember correctly, our training staff saved his life. He was a good man. RIP

Re: LV McGinty
I remember that game. It was the first game of the year (at least at home), and he collapsed during the opening kickoff. It seems like we were playing Southern Illinois, but I’m not sure. I do remember some of his family running across the field. Does anyone know what year that was?

Well respected in his community. He loved the sport, and was a top notch official.
