I will give the kid credit. He has a lot of ability, and appears to be a good person. I would no longer consider him a top 50 prospect though. He had bundles of top 20 schools after him when he came to Marshall County. Louisville, and that other school to the East pulling back off him is all that needs to be said. There was some interest in him for a backup, but that was all. That is where he would have been here as well. He will have his moments in the spotlight, and I will be glad for the young man. He had old friends in Bowling Green, including the coach's son. I would have been surprised if he had gone elsewhere. I wish him well, but am glad we got Dionte Blanch, instead.

Word now is that he has enough credits to graduate and will skip his senior season and go to WKU in the fall. That is based on his dad saying that he will be qualified. No official word as of yet.

Harmon makes his choice

Western is his home base, guess it felt a comfortable place to play. Such a promising player ending up at WKU tho.🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

At this point it’s a place where promising careers go to die.

Since $tan$bury went to BG, They have averaged 13 losses per season

No conf championships
No tourney championships
No ncaa tourney bids

Mitchell Robinson *****- never played a game at western
Charles Bassey *****- at one point considered top player in his class. Prior to injury, had worked his way into a second round player.
Delano Banton **** - transferred to Nebraska
Josh Anderson ****- career 10 pts per game over three years

That doesn't include some that didn't even play such as: Eli Wright, who transferred from St. John's last year, and left the team for personal reasons in October. He is from Owensboro, and was a four star prospect four years ago out of high school. Was rated as high as 65 by espn his senior year. In fact, Western has lost seven players early in the last year, and a total of 17 since Rick Stansbury took the job four years ago. The biggest part of that problem is that several of his most talented recruits are part of that group.

Makes you appreciate a coach like Matt McMahon, who not only recruits quality players, but also quality individuals as well.

Well said. Honestly, who wants to try to be sUcK lite? Be successful and build a solid program. CMM and his past and present staffs have done very well and been far more successful. western is DePaul or some other team that $omehow gets a high rated recruit, but never improves.

We will see if Stans reverses Harmon, like he has so many others.
