So this guy scores 9pts and 7.5 rebounds per game in only 14 minutes a game. That sounds great. Hope we get him and can improve his free throw shooting a bit.

Why are we interested in a Senior guard who averages 5pts a game? Not trying to knock the kid I just want to see what upside there is. I think a grad transfer would have to be immediately impactful

Not saying this kid will be the same, but sometimes a change of scenery can have a huge impact from P5 to mid-major. Look at Nick King at MTSU. Averaged 3.3 ppg at Alabama in 16/17 after averaging 7 ppg the year before at Memphis. He then went to MTSU and averaged 21ppg. King was a perfect fit at MTSU and regained his confidence.

I think we need more front court depth, but the staff may see something in this kid to make an immediate impact for us next season. He was a top 100 recruit out of high school

With a spot open, there appears to be a lot of playing time for someone, and with all the scouts coming to see Ja next year, Murray State would be a golden opportunity for him to showcase his talents.
