Nice bounce back game from Hill, Gilmore and Brown. We did what we’re supposed to do against a bad team - get on top early and don’t ever let them back in it. DR’s injury didn’t look good - hope for the best for guy.

Just now getting a chance to watch. Would not be surprised to hear Demond has an ACL or MCL blow out.

We are so much better when we move the ball and do not settle for the first available shot.

I think we will be ok with Devin in extended minutes with Demond out. 7 rebounds in his minutes tonight. Just needs to stay out of foul trouble.

I have to give credit to Juice also. That is what I have been expecting, but not getting. Kudos to him for turning the switch on.

Great response to Thursday's loss. Just hoping for good news for Demond, as he was hurting bad when he went down. Also noticed KJ acted like he was hurting in the 2nd half. Demond was having a good game, too. Tevin bounced back really well, would have been well over 30 points if he remained in, but some good minutes made available for the bench. Very nice work for Juice, also.

Good vibes to take to JSU, except for Demond's injury.

Another good note; Mrs. Asbridge was at the game, arm in cast. They didn't let her go down the steps, she sat up top. But what a trooper, she said "No one is keeping me at home, this is our last home game and i have to be here".

Maybe. Maybe not. The last game against JSU was not a good one for Demond. He was a total non-factor in their last game. The younger guys (McMullen and Kirby) and Gilmore can hopefully replace his output. Though Demond is bigger, those guys are faster and more physical. Hopefully the additional reps in practice they will be getting in Demond’s role will be an opportunity for creating a deeper team next year.

Last JSU game was when Gilmore was in CMM’s self imposed quarantine I guess or whatever reason he was sitting him so I can’t really tell how he will do. What I do remember is Gilmore coming in with the energy that we needed and lacked and erased a 10 point deficit in 3 minutes.

The big big deal I see is that after Gilmore we have 0 years experience now at that position off the bench and a very foul prone McMullen.

And a zero offensive threat McMullen. He struggles to catch the ball lol, I’m almost to the “don’t freaking pass the ball in the paint to Brion” mode I was a few seasons ago every time somebody tried to feed him a pass in the paint last night hahaha.

Losing Demond would be a big old deal. Plus end of season this will most assuredly affect next season well into conference play if not the entire year. Let’s just hope he heals like Adrian Peterson.
