Exactly!! Why can’t we stop their curl layups?

The women screaming on the ESPN + coverage is driving me crazy.

I think that’s Belmont’s bench you’re hearing...

We lost this game in the first half. The turnovers doomed us.

We were fortunate to not get blown out tonight. Particularly bad game by our seniors.

They just flat got beat tonight. Maybe they needed it. I think Belmont was 0-15 at halftime behind the 3 and still won first half.

Is it out of line to ask why Holliday is ahead of Kamba on the depth chart?

I don't think it really would have mattered that much in this game, and it's not a knock on Holliday. It just seems to me that Kamba is playing a little bit better. Still makes some freshmen mistakes, but just seems to be playing a little bit better.

Would having another ball handler in there at times helped with the turnovers?

Were we watching the same game? Or was this a sarcastic post?

22 turnovers and only lost by 7. I still like our young team. How about those big men inside defensively vs their bigs, especially vs the big ‘ski kid? That’s what I’m focusing on, I never dreamed we’d be 10-1 right now.

I’d rather win in Evansville
Americans dead by COVID-19 as of 5/5/2020 72,271.
Americans lost in Vietnam- 58,209
Korea- 38,616
All other American dead in every conflict since 1975 including 9/11 and Benghazi- 10,580

Some hoax

We were not prepared for this game imo.

From the get-go, Belmont set the tone of the defense and we went through the motions.

All the unforced turnovers - especially by upperclassmen - is very disappointing to watch.

Belmont camped out under the basket many times for their ORebs.

Very little blocking out and many times we're running 15 feet to chase a 3-point shooter....

                A Three Point Shooter!

                          Hello!.....

                   This is Belmont!

3 Point Shooting is their Bread and Butter!

Totally surprised we were in it late in the game but it seemed to me we'd dig ourselves a 10-point deficit, battle back to within 2 or 3 and go on multiple trips of poor decision making and let it balloon back out to 9 or 10 points again.

We seemed to pass up open 3's in exchange for last-second drives for a layup attempt against their big men.

In the spirit of fairness however, Belmont had a great game plan and executed it with high efficiency except for their shots not falling from the outside.

Kudos to them.

They deserved THIS win.

Hope we come out with more fire and brimstone Saturday and play some RACER Basketball.

Turnovers have been a problem most of the year. But we were able to overcome them against lesser competition. Can’t have that many empty possessions and beat a decent team.

At the time of the post he was having a great game. Much better than A. smith. Gilmore was moving scoring and was very good on help defense for periods of the game. Yes he missed a few cuts in the 2nd half but overall I think he played well.

Sometime after the sting subsides, I'll know you are right.

If Daquan could have hit those threes, I think it would have been a different outcome. My guess is that Daquan was having some issues with his shot because he was just working too hard out there. He also made some sloppy passes, but that happens when fatigue sets in (38 minutes tonight).

I was hoping to see some more of Kamba tonight, but I'm sensing he hasn't earned McMahon's full trust out there yet, especially against Belmont's guards. They are gonna have to get him in there because Chico, even if he does come back, is probably not gonna be in game shape for the tournament.

Just a whole lot of bad decisions on the court tonight. Not going to win in Nashville like that, even against TSU.

The good news for the night. We are still tied for 1st place. TSU beats Peay by 2.
