Smidge, checkout Realtime RPI sometime, don't know how accurate it is but worth a look.

Can’t be very accurate considering it has us at 6-1 in conference. It is telling though that according to RPI ranking we are 5th in the OVC with Jacksonville St one spot behind us. To be 5th in the 29th ranked conference with the easiest schedule in the nation is terrible.

No PIG for Murray, Belmont or Peay. 15 seed looks about right.

It is crazy to see the bottom three teams have a 4-45 DI record, with only four of 12 OVC teams with winning records in DI. This is about the worst I've seen the OVC.
15 seed...16 seed...no difference imo. The worst part is that only a few schools give a damn about the conference and its place in Division I. It's time to get it down to eight schools. I wonder what ranking the OVC would be if we only had eight schools? Has to be better than the SWAC-like rankings were currently at.

How is our commissioner keeping her job?? That must be the most stress free job on the planet. Is there no accountability? I did notice she was in attendance in Martin for the Belmont game.

You just answered your own question. She goes to games and glad-hands people, pretending to care. Like a politician. She's the George Costanza of college athletic conferences.

I keep preaching ooc scheduling, that is where we can improve our own rankings, but with a weak schedule it's a sure fire way to have a winning season fwiw.

Top three will be 14/15 seed line. Belmont or Murray, barring some weird losing streak, would benefit from last year’s name recognition.

Here’s the ratings before the game last night, still waiting for them to update this morning. Sagarin had the game spread at .31 pts in our favor with the home court advantage. We should see a fairly decent surge and a corresponding drop from Belmont. Not sure if it’s enough to overtake them but one thing is for damn sure, they aren’t and have never been 30-something spots better than us at ANY point this season.

Massey has us climbing 22 spots to 150 with Belmont falling 19 to 151.

Nine out of 12 programs in the bottom half, most in the gutter and people wonder why we are pissed off as fans lol.

Something very odd to me is that Belmont got a 10 spot bump in their schedule ranking after playing us but we only got a 3 spot bump playing Belmont who is ranked higher than us. That makes no sense.

Only thing I can think of is a bonus for a road game vs a home game...
