Growing Frustration

Post by racernut69 » Sat Feb 09, 2019 2:00 pm

Sadly, I turned off the EIU game Thursday out of sheer frustration. We frequently have to come from behind for teams ranked WAY DOWN in the lower 300's in rankings.

I understand that these teams get hyped-up for us, but when I turn the game on, I truly expect us to be losing at half-time. How many "come from behind wins" are we going to have to endure? Granted, they are still wins, but hey!

These low-ranked teams play us like tigers. Are we truly that weak to allow these teams to pounce on us in the first half?

I cringe when we have to play Austin Peay twice.

Sorry guys, I'm just blowing off some steam. But I am sure there are many fans who feel as I do. We have 7 more games to " mature" and gel as a team. THEN we have to face Belmont, JAX and AP again. I simply don't have confidence. I pray that I am wrong in my analysis.

It would be much easier to root for a team that never loses or even gets behind in a game. Let us know if you find one.

I think the teams biggest issue is they are trying to show off way to much. All the fancy dunks, passes etc. I understand some will happen naturally. Just feel we are forcing some plays and in turn are becoming turnovers instead of points. I am probably in the minority of thinking this.

I feel you RacerNut.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't get frustrated at some point or another.

Keep the faith, send out the positive vibes that the players feed off of, and, win or lose, be entertained and enjoy the show.

If I post some negatives things I can post some positive things also. What a great second half. Big distribution of points and rebounds
