Bush league. Can you even imagine the uproar in Murray if we were playing those upcoming home games against Belmont and TSU at Marshall's county's gym?

I’m just shocked some other reasonable accommodation couldn’t have been made by league to rectify the situation. Sounds like EKU’s fault but man, that’s a hit anyway you look at it.

I don't really know what you'd do after the season schedule is set for the league without it impacting other schools, TV schedules, etc. That All A classic pretty much takes the gym day and night for a week.

If I had to guess, the University probably makes a heck of a lot more money hosting that all-A classic than they do for a couple of EKU home games. Plus the opportunity to expose high school students who are traveling with the teams to the visit the University is too tempting to pass up as a general student recruitment effort. Seeing the current state of their athletic programs and the budgets in general, it is a no-brainer, but that sure does suck for Mayo and that team.

If I recollect, didn't we have to reschedule a game once because of a boat show.

I’ll just say this, hosting an All-A tournament isn’t even in the same ballpark as a D1 college basketball race, BUT it comes down to your view of and your level of commitment toward your program. I think it’s crazy from every logical aspect. I mean, I thought inconveniencing our practices pre-practice facility days to host a boat show or possible consignment show conflict with CIT tourney was nuts, imagine a couple crucial conference home games moved to PCC lmao.

Maybe they can find a Travelodge meeting room like those couple of years when the OVC tournament was held in a ballroom. (if I recall correctly)
