Reminds me of an NBA game. Hope the Dalton player is OK. Looks like he landed hard on that hand.

A tip of the hat to SEMO's transition defense!

They are not allowing any runouts off a rebound. :salute:

Look at Mr. Eaves and Mr. Whitley coming in the game and giving some very solid minutes!!!

Both teams came out and were on track to score over 100 points for the first ten minutes. I, too, question just how good our defense is after watching a team scorch us in the opening minutes for the 2nd game in a row. I guess we have to find SOMETHING to complain about. If not, what are we good for?

The trip is about 94 miles and took us about 1:40 each way at the speed limit. I am amazed that people take I-24 up and around. Also amazed that people come home from Martin through Mayfield. GPS is overrated.

I've always gone up through Wickliffe and Cairo. Except for Cairo, it's not that bad of a drive.

Cairo is a bit depressing to look at, though some of the old buildings are quite something. Driving through town is a breeze. No stops.

Where has our defense gone?
I know Auburn is on a different level than anyone we’ll face in conf. But, that’s the game where I started worrying about our defense. I was worried about our offense before the Auburn game. Now that we have a balanced attack offensively, our defense seems to have gone backwards.

You can look at some of those old building in Cairo and tell that it was once a heck of a great, thriving town. It's sad what shape it's in now. Hell, it's a shame at what most of every county below Carbondale and Marion has turned into.

As for the game, a good win. SEMO has way more talent than I thought. I figured we'd steamroll them by 30 on paper. BTW, did anyone find out if that player broke his hand or not?

Morant's dance after juking dude out of his shoes at half court was hilarious.

The company I work for had an office in Cairo. It was broken in to so many times we finally got out of dodge. Now it's basically just a speed trap.

I would not call it a speed trap. The speed limit is clearly marked. All one has to do is stick to it, a good policy in general.

Did anyone else notice the group sitting in the end zone opposite the chow hall? They didn't appear to be fans of SEMO or Murray and had signs stating "We're just here to see Ja Morant."

There were some kids from Carbondale who came just to watch him.
