Tomorrow we find out where Ja is going. It's the lottery drawing day. Like we all don't know that the Knicks will get the #1 pick. Biggest market and benefits the NBA the most.

I'm pulling for Phoenix to get the #1 pick because I think there's a good chance they'd take Ja and he'd be a good fit with Booker and Ayton. Plus, I think I've still got some Suns gear from Barkley and KJ days.

So does anyone think that the Grizzlies would pass on Ja and take Barret? It would be cool to see Ja go to Memphis as that’s the closest team to see for us.

Memphis...a meh franchise at best. Small market, small potatoes. I hope they take RJ and Ja goes to NYC. Just my preference.

Teams like Oklahoma City and San Antonio have done pretty well in small markets.

The Knicks are one of the most poorly run franchises in professional sports.

All the advantages of a large market, yet here they are, sucking for decades.

James Dolan just does not get it.

Dolan and Dan Gilbert of Cleveland are two of the most incompetent owners in professional sports.

I understand the Knicks are a dumpster fire of an organization. I'm wanting exposure for Ja. The Knicks (if he plays well) will get him on a bigger stage. Most of the sports media comes from either LA or the northeast. I don't care how well he could do in Memphis, it'll get overlooked. I may be wrong, but Memphis has to be close to being the smallest NBA market. Of course, seeing as the NBA is different now, he wouldn't have to be stuck in Memphis forever. Maybe he plays well enough that he can go wherever he wants down to road. It'll be interesting one way or the other.

I believe the Knicks and their fans want him. Wouldn't be surprised if Memphis changed positions for an additional second round pick, or player. Just depends on whether Memphis has a need for a point.

My ZeroNBAKnowledge prediction is Memphis takes Ja and trades Conley to Phoenix for their second round pick plus a role player.

Here's something Ja sucks at: recognizing technology from the 1980s and 1990s.

That's okay. Most of that stuff is as relevant to today as a wooly mammoth. Just shows how much technology has changed in the last 30 years.

Thank you for posting in one of the existing 6-7 “Ja” threads on page 1 instead of creating a new one RP!

Now that Ja has been selected, what's the over/under on wins for the Grizzlies this upcoming season? I'll set it at 35 wins. Over or under? Ja, I am certain, will be starting from the beginning. It's a major leap in game speed, talent, etc over NCAA. I'm hoping the front office will be patient and let him come into his own there without too much pressure right off the bat.

There is a wealth of high school basketball talent in the Memphis area and we’ve historically done very well recruiting there. Just imagine the future with Ja as the newly crowned king of the city.
