Deeper than the 09-10 team with Danero, Rico, Jenks, Red, Donte and Sip? If so, I'll be thrilled.

I saw that team in pick-up games at carthealth spelling in 09 and posted they were going to be GREAT AND THEY WERE.I think these guards are as good or better and we have 7 of them that can start for anyone in the conference.

And once he gets in playing shape, Brown will be better than Eaves. I guess you are talking about Sip's freshman year. Not quite sure that Ja is better than Sip in his junior year. If my memory hasn't failed me, we are talking about a player who was an All American in some publications, could score over 20 whenever he wanted to, and was looked at as a mid to late first rounder. Ja may be better in his sophomore year, than Sip in his freshman and sophomore years, but it is hard to say, given Sips lack of playing time. Not saying that Ja is not a great player, because he is, but to say he is better than Sip is quite a statement. We will see. There is a lot of difference between being the third best scorer on a team, and the man who other teams key on because they feel if they shut him down, they shut the Racers down. We are going to have to have at least two guys step up and put the ball in the basket, in addition to Ja.

D smith is my sleeper and a joy to watch because he,s so smooth and the other two will be bench roll players.

Well...if we have 7 stellar guards, will we keep them them all? Getting splinter time on the bench could send them bye-bye

Well, not necessarily. Say you go with four guards and a post. You'd need at least two guards off the bench and a post off the bench. So you've used six guards and two posts, eight deep. (I know McMahon usually goes seven deep, but I'm sure he would make an exception with this kind of talent.)

Now, if power is right that we have seven guards "that can start for anyone in the conference," we'll have several blowout games on our way to an undefeated OVC season where that seventh guy will get plenty of playing time. So, not a problem!

Everything has been quiet lately on this subject !

Any new information available on possible starters and 1st and 2nd off the bench?

Any scrimmages with other teams?

Everything has been quiet, just when us out of towers are looking to get some feedback, especially on the
newer players. Anyone standing out?
