Stats from 1st 6 games. Run the same offense that Hatcher runs.
Have we offered him already ??

His News:
http://www.hcsportsdaily.com/2010/11/21 ... ball-team/
Co-Defensive Players of Year: Hamilton Southeastern’s Randy Gregory and Fishers’ Taylor Halstead have been two of the fiercest down linemen for the past two seasons. Gregory averaged 10-plus tackles this season, and Halstead has recorded 29 sacks in two seasons, leading the state in 2009 with 18.

http://www.indystar.com/article/2010112 ... t|Sports|s
Fishers senior defensive end Taylor Halstead had an outstanding season leading up to Saturday's championship, easily leading the Tigers in sacks (11) and tackles for a loss (20). But Halstead's numbers against Lawrence Central -- four sacks and 51/2 tackles for a loss -- amounted to a good season for most players.

Taylor is the classic "flew under the radar screen" player. Fishers is a brand new program in the 5A class (largest class in Indiana). Needless to say when you are starting from scratch in building a program a coach's priority is not recruiting for the next level but instead the day to day reality of trying to put together a winning program. That entails a team effort. The first season they lost every game and won their first game in the tourney. After that they have steadily improved. Pretty remarkable for a progam 5 years old to win state at this level. They beat 4 top ten teams in the state to win the tourney so they didn't get a cupcake draw.

The classic Indiana state powers such as Carmel, Ben Davis, Warren Central, North Central, Cathedral, Chatard etc normally produce 5-10 collegiate players at the FCS or BCS level. Fishers has produced none which is more a reflection of a recruiting learning curve than it is skill level.

It's the little things like not having your stats updated, Not knowing who and when to contact coaches, Attending camps etc that tend to get overlooked and cause the player to get overlooked. These little things have a huge impact on getting the players in the spotlight. They have to let the games do the talking.

PS- I live in Fishers.

69. OL/DT Hunter Kingston, Mayfield, Mayfield, KY 6-2 / 270
http://www.courier-journal.com/article/ ... n/Mayfield
The 6-foot-2, 270-pound Kingston started for three years on the offensive line and two years as a defensive tackle. He was one of the top five tacklers on the team as a senior and helped the Cardinals to the Class A state title. He had three tackles, including a sack, in the final…
Kingston currently has scholarship offers from only Lindsey Wilson and Hanover, but Morris said he's getting looks from “a lot of other smaller colleges,” including Eastern Kentucky, Murray State and Tennessee-Martin.

70. WR Anthony Ingram, Hamilton County, Jasper, Florida 5'9" / 170
http://sports.yahoo.com/top/news?slug=rivals-1174862
“I have an offer from Murray State,” Ingram said…
Ingram talked a bit more about the main three schools in the picture for him at this time.
Murray State: “They saw my highlight film and that they had been trying to get in touch with me since my junior year. They told me I could come in and play on either side of the ball, wherever I want to play at receiver or safety. They have just been calling a lot. I have been talking to Coach Kenny Parker a lot.”
