Sign this girl, Rob. She is another Guffey but without a twin. The cowgirl has even heard of her. Cowgirl has a goat raising friend (who lives just west of Louisa) who has said nice things -- whatever that means. I understand that 40+% at three is like HORSE against no -- or lousy -- defense. She is fast, fearless and fundamentally solid. Many think she is a 2 -- but she is the only ballhandler on the team -- thus a 1. Her "natural" school choice, since Louisa is on the Big Sandy (state line) would be WVa, Marshall, Morehead, Ohio U, Miami etc. Lock her down before word gets out.

Have we signed all that we are going to sign? I just noticed the name LEE ANN GRIDER. It seems that when I was a boy, I went with Dad down to Jamestown, Russell Springs area when Dad was interviewing witnesses. It seems that a Sheriff was named Leslie Grider, but that could have been Albany, Clinton County. Great grandad? Great-great gd? Small state, short lives

Former Montini standout made an immediate impact with Plainfield East her senior year. The Murray State recruit averaged 15.7 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. She also contributed 70 steals and 59 assists and made 48 three-pointers.
“Nikia is a stand out type of player and kid,” East coach Missy Mitidiero said. “She is a natural leader on the court, a respected teammate and demands attention from any opponent and is a necessity to have on the court at all times. Murray State is getting a great shooter, leader and worker.”
