“I’ve been in touch with Marquette, South Dakota State is watching me workout, Miami-Ohio is coming in (Friday), and Loyola Chicago came in and talked to me,” said Hunter.
He went on, “Western Illinois, Marquette, Loyola, Murray State, Iowa State, Creighton, Oregon State, Southern Illinois, Illinois, Wake Forest, Butler, Boise State and Milwaukee are the schools that I am hearing from frequently and letting me know that they will be recruiting me hard.”

#2 ZAY FOLKES - 6'3 - GUARD/WING - MIDDLEBURG
One word that can be used to describe Zay Folkes’ game is electrifying. He’s a versatile option on the floor at 6-foot-3 that can play the point guard spot or on the wing to make things happen using his freak athleticism. He filled up the stat sheet this season for Middleburg, averaging 20.7 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game as he made up one of the top backcourt duos alongside Jaden House. House is headed to High Point, while Folkes will look to use his senior season to go out with a bang. He holds offers from Murray State, Georgetown, George Mason, Elon and others in the mid-major ranks.

He has offers from Ole Miss, Elon and James Madison and has had East Carolina in recently to see a game. Murray State and UNC-Greensboro are expected to be in next week for their match-up with Granville Central HS. NC State, Clemson and Elon have also been in contact over the last few weeks. Virginia has also started the recruiting process for the high-scoring guard.

Jamison's recruitment has seen a upward trend as well. He holds offers from Elon, James Madison and Ole Miss. He tells HoopSeen that he has been hearing the most from Murray State, NC State, Virginia Tech and Clemson lately.

"They call it Point Guard U. You saw what they did with Ja Morant. I like Coach (Matt) McMahon. He’s a good coach, and he develops point guards.”
Seton Hall
“They’re all about staying in the gym, staying in the gym. That’s what I live off of. They have a great backing, great fan base. (Point guard) Myles Powell coming out of there, he’s doing a lot.”
Western Kentucky
“Rick Stansbury, I actually won a state championship with his older son (Isaac) my eighth-grade year (at Bowling Green). I have a close relationship with him.”
Overview: “They all have what I’m looking for – a guard school, a head coach I can trust. They’re all top Division I programs. You can make it to the NBA from any one of those schools. I’m just trying to make the best decision for my life.”

He’s wired to score and has a long, rangy frame that will catch your attention. His 26 points per game in region play is impressive as the Patriots enter into the post-season.
