“Scored well from the 1,2,3 dribble bounce creation. Ran the point and looked solid against pressure. True combo guard that slashed and hit mid range pull ups and finished well in transition. The best mid range “O” of the tournament.” From http://www.premierball.com/tag/michael-thompson/

Unfortunately, my "inside source" tells me that if he had to choose between the two, he would pick the filthy toppers over the Racers "at this time". However, neither of the two schools are his first choice.

I have no idea, but I'm sure you know. I happen to know a couple of young ladies who are Hopkinsville graduates and know the young man from County. They will be attending Murray State and I wouldn't doubt have sang a Racer cheer or two to him at some time or another. I was joking about the imminent verbal, as I couldn't tell you ANYTHING concerning the "inside" of the program.
= I have found this tweet “6'3 Jalen Bland Cleveland HS (CA) Offers from Rhode Island and Murray State. Interest from CSUN and Central Michigan about 6 hours ago from TweetDeck” from http://coast2coastrecruiting.net/ on its “twitter box” twittered on July 30, 2010 or look at http://twitter.com/C2CRecruiting. = He is a transferred player from Arthur Hill Lumberjack, Saginaw MI. Sound familiar? Get back and look at Racer roster, Latreze Mushatt came from there. = http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/varsity ... sfers.html Quote: “…But the best player is Jaylen Bland, a 6-foot-2 junior guard from Saginaw (Mich.) Hill High who was set to be one of the top underclassmen in Michigan. …
How many 5'10" players do you find in college basketball today? I know he can play, but can he play with 6 '4-6'6" players at the guard spot. I prefer the guards that we have if we can get some more like them.
Rashawn Rembert – 6’3 – Shooting Guard – Sickles High
o This kid is a work horse improving his skill set drastically over the last three years. He is a long, athletic two guard. Great range, possesses a scorer’s mentality. Very athletic in drills, would like to see him transfer that athleticism to finishing at the basket at game speed. Great kid.
According to Florida Hoops Report
6.Rashawn Rembert – 6’3 WG Tampa Sickles: Very athletic, Rembert does his best work when he is able to get out in transition. He’s very active on the glass as well as in the passing lanes on the defensive end. While he didn’t come across as a great shooter, he did knock down a three and a mid-range jumper off the dribble.
